Wow, what a trip. 🚨CAUTION🚨Spoilers on aesthetics and themes, but no spoilers on plot elements.
Alternating between 1) unsettling scenes punctuated with sharp, primal movements by the actors with a background of discordant instruments, and 2) vibrant, joy-filled, euphoria and the experience of reliving awe and wonder from discovery of the world.

Seemingly influenced by an array of films from Delicattessen to Un Chien Andalou. An aesthetic from Accidentally Wes Anderson but with surreal landscapes shot at uncommon focal lengths like miniature style photography. Themes covering personal freedom, absurdity, existentialism, and nihilism.
All pushed forward at a manic pace and intensity that reminded me of “Everything, Everywhere, All at Once” but much darker and wider.
I’d highly recommend this, and would love to chat more if you end up seeing it! Time to attempt to integrate into the real world after disappearing from it for a couple of hours.
With thanks to: Simon and Bilyana for recommending it
