So its been roughly 144 days since the last entry, and as I feared, 1 day of not posting became 2, and then a week, and a month… I was halfway the 90 day stream but shit happens, so now I’m back at it ready to keep finding and sharing kick ass songs in Spanish.

We go back into the arena with a band from Mexico, Leon Guanajuato specifically.

Lugares by DUUVVI. I couldn’t really find information on the bands origin, but their first material according to bandcamp was in 2016. The band has definite roots in shoegaze and they are pretty good at making you feel nostalgic, there’s just something in their drum beats that i can’t but keep replaying their songs over and over again. Funny enough the name is kind of similar to another shoegaze/dreampop band I love, DIIV.

Ya pasó un chingo de tiempo raza, 144 días para ser exactos desde la última vez que publiqué algo, lo que temía se cumplió, brincarme un día se convirtió en 2, después una semana y después 1 mes …. Cumplí apenas poco mas de la mitad de los días del reto, pero bueno… shit happens, pero ya estoy de regreso para compartir mas música chingona en español.

Regresamos al ruedo con una banda de León, Guanajuato en Mexico.


Lugares de DUUVVI. No pude encontrar mucha información de esta banda, pero según su bandcamp su primer material fue lanzado en 2016. La banda tiene tintes de shoegaze y la neta son muy buenos en transmitirte una vibra de nostalgia mamalona, algo en sus beats de la batería me tienen dándole replay. Esta cagado pero el nombre de esta banda es muy similar a otra banda que me de shoegaze/dreampop que me mama,  DIIV.
