A close friend of mine in the tech world Ryan Lowe passed away far too early in life but he spent his last few years doing what he wanted.  He decidedly stopped blogging in favour of building and three of those ideas where heyheadsup (a micro blogging platform for announcements... think twitter but not twitter), a genelogy site and a news aggregator.

I've always wanted a better way to track links (RIP del.icio.us.... long live del.icio.us?), so maybe in the spirit of Ryan, I will use this as a heyheadsup blog (I mean it's in the name).
