Recently I posted on social here here and here. It's easy to have an idea and work on it without selling it. Those posts were short, and I felt I wanted to expand more.

When I get an idea, I put on my design hat, followed by the developer one. That's all I had until recently. Design and writing code to build products brings pleasure and excitement. But I always forget it's only half the equation, and honestly, it's often the easier half. I've done that many times.
The hard truth? A perfect product with zero users is just expensive code. Time is a very precious resource. The ability to sell, market, and connect with real people transforms clever code into sustainable businesses.
I've been guilty of this myself with many projects. Spent weeks perfecting the design and adding features, but only then thinking about how to actually get it into people's hands.
Remember: Your design and code don't change the world. People using your creation does.
What's your ratio of designing and building vs. promoting right now?
