Nobody tells stories about success like success does. From the pages of history to our world of tech, premises of bloodline, capabilities, and talent, as well as being in the right time and market, are all overplayed factors, in my opinion. The overwhelming share of success comes from 'sticking to it' day in and day out - without taking a break, without getting tired, and without convincing yourself that you are more brilliant and smarter than you really are.

That early morning run in the cold, reading the last two pages of a book at the end of a tiring day, coding that little box on your product website - these are bigger markers of success than we truly appreciate.
