Good vs Bad Design
How do you even begin to differentiate designs and categorise it? Well obviously there are loads of ways to do it, I think mine is easy and goes with the flow. Altough it might be a little superficial but tells a lot about the design.
I differentiate based on how seamless the experience of the design is. While using a product there might be times of rugged experiences. As in no easy work flow for the user, they have to beat around the bushes to get work done. Good design is about straightforward, seamless user experience.
Simple example - Users have difficulty in deactivating or deleting their accounts in many web and mobile apps, mostly because this option leads to a tedious process. This is an example of both bad UX and lack of empathy for the users.
Design should have an wholesome approach for an wholesome experience.
