Unicycle and business

To my surprise, a seemingly simple game reflected the complex essence of business.

It's called A Balanced Brew. You need to complete each level by balancing on a unicycle with a crank to get the guy to the coffee cart.If you crank too fast, you lean and might fall. If you stop, you lose balance.

This game, much like business, demands balance over a lengthy journey.

Spend too little, and your business won't grow or innovate. Spend too much, and you might lose your business or control of it.

Working too little makes things slow. Working too much can burn you out or lead you the wrong way.

A business with just one person can't do much. But hiring too many people can waste money on things that don't matter.

But unlike the game, you can't calculate your path. The right balance depends on the time, context, business nature, people, and millions of other factors. It’s important to feel it and train yourself to better catch this moment of losing the balance.

While shortcuts exist, and our world is full of such examples, true victory lies in mastering the art of balance.
