Searching for answers

When I returned home from the hospital, I was keen to engage in this enquiry:
"Why did it happen to me?"
Not so much from a scientific perspective, but more
in an esoteric sense, in words and ways that cannot be fully explained.
I looked at my karmic balance, the rights and wrongs,
the people I had maybe hurt or invited scorn from.
All in all, things seemed complete. Nothing, in my mind,
that would evoke such a curse.
I then turned to my trusted tribe:
A Shamanic healer,
a Vedic astrologer,
a Kabbalah astrologer, and
a mystic Chaneller.
Each had a point of view. Some points resonated.
But again, overall, I was unable to get a consistent viewpoint.

Then in a shamanic journeying session, the words
"Cosmic Collision" came to me. Telling me that it was just
something that happened. Accidents happen.
It was not willed by God or my own Karma or someone else's curse.
But after the accident, everything got together to prevent this life from fully escaping.

My therapist recommended me a book:
"When Bad Things Happen to Good People"
Some things happen for no reason, there is randomness in the universe.
"Why did this happen to me?"
That is really an unanswerable, pointless question.
A better question would be ‘Now that this has happened to me,
what am I going to do about it?

It is beginning to make sense now
