A humble request

Software and IT networks are a bunch of self-morphing tools. 

Most of the time they do what you need them to, but sometimes...

...updates change them into things that don't do what they used to.

...they require money to continue providing previously free or cheaper services.

...they need some other tool to continue to work right.

...they just don't work thanks to Internet ripples, planetary alignment, wayward specks of dust, server farms being eaten by virtual goats, solar flares, optical fiber cuts, unexpected fluid immersion, temperature fluctuations, third party service unavailability, human screw-ups, etc, etc, etc.

...malware and exploits and bugs (oh my!).

This seems to happen more and more frequently as time goes by.

Stop it, Chaos, you're making my job tougher. 

But if my job were easy, I might not be paid to do it.

So ok, Chaos, please just tone it down a bit.
