Video chatting and working from home were starting to get bigger before the COVID-19 situation exploded, but our current societal reality's practically based around both of these things now, making them nearly-must-read priority from my data feeds.

If people need to work from home at my workplace, I'm the person who makes it happen. So I'm interested from that angle. But wow I miss people in the last few years, so socializing remotely is a personal perusings priority. I've been terrible at putting it to good use myself, though. #ownworstenemy

Lots of gatherings and social events can be handled remotely without too much trouble, but this piece on etiquette for virtual funerals hit me particularly hard. 

The article has pretty straightforward, practical advice. It's already something I knew intellectually, but it struck me emotionally while reading that article that we can't give a final hug goodbye, and can't gather together to show support to the survivors through physical presence, because our best means of reducing the virus's impact is staying apart. 

I know, there are other pandemic issues and impacts, but this one has me most sad right now.
