I need some sort of time tracking to keep me accountable with my daily activities. I tried time tracking software before, but I seem not to be able to make it stick for one reason or another. Mostly because I keep forgetting to activate and deactivate.
I know I have to make it simple, or I won't use it. So I am going to just set up a countdown on my watch for one hour, two hours, etc. to keep track of the activity. If I get interrupted, or if I must do something unrelated, I can just pause the countdown and resume it later.
This should ensure that I actually do the time set for each activity, even if it takes more than the time planned.
For example: ideally I want to spend 1 hour a day for KDP book publishing. So, I set up a countdown for 1 hour. Then, let's say something happens, like my cat takes over the desk.
Fine! I can pause the countdown to pet him so he's happy. When I am done, I can resume the counter and finish my activity time.
This means that it would take more than 1 hour to complete my 1 hour activity, but the activity itself lasted 1 hour like planned.
