Ahh another Friday! Let's face it, we are carrying some exhaustion from the weekdays at this time of the day. It's reaching 5.30 pm here in London so I wanna share something quick.
Reiterating, it's Friday and contrary to the previous ones, it does feel kinda different. It's been a really good week at work with some exciting projects nearing their completion, the weather in London the last couple of days has been truly exceptional (compared to the yoozh February UK conditions) and I met a bunch of new people at work (yes peeps Ricardo is hiring!). I wanna stand on the last one though - what I found really admiring and, admittedly, inspiring is how excited about their job and friendly the new juniors are. I seriously haven't met anyone yesterday who wasn't driven to succeed at Ricardo and play their own role in tackling the environmental problems that our world faces today. It's always nice to be reminded, even (nay, especially) by the younger ones what we do as environmental consultants does make a difference and it's more important than ever these days! πππΌ
Have a smashing weekend everyone π₯ and in the meantime, I'll leave you with my favourite photo of the week that I took on a sunset walk around the office on Tuesday and a link to my playlist of my favourite songs of the week (for those on ο£ΏMusic). Okay I'll include a bonus one for the nerds out there - a map I created for the PM2.5 car emissions (major roads only) in the City of London (data from NAEI 2019).
