I'm currently in the tube and en route to a friend's place in Central London. The destination is irrelevant so I'd like to focus on the fact that I'm riding the tube. For the Londoners out there I'm almost certain you can relate when I say that we get lost in thoughts, are abstracted and even stare into space when we're in the tube (come on who are you kidding?!). At the same time, however, we meet our most creative and curious selves and today that's the reason I wanna start running this new mini series called Tube Thoughts ππ. In essence and on occasion I will be sharing what I would've jotted down if I had a pen and a piece of paper and would've wanted to remember my journey for. The cool thing is that all posts, including this one (#1), will be published from somewhere underground in London. Hope you'll enjoy and get to experience a different side of me π I'm also curious now how I'll look back to myself when reading my Tube Thoughts ππ.
How often do we overthink about certain decisions? Decisions, good or bad, or even missed opportunities. How many times have we said 'What if ...'? I'm a big believer that exciting and amazing worlds could be unveiled with a simple 'F*ck it, let's go for it'. Nothing matters except the present. Let's make impromptu decisions NOW,Β weβll have enough time to reflect on them, later! The best time to be alive is nowβ¦ the present π And I wouldn't be a millennial without sharing an insta quote that I glimpsed at this morning
Stop trying to control everything. Don't anxiously wait for it. Just create what you know at the time and the opportunities will arise. Allow the universe to do its work. Allow that unknown. You don't have to know every step at all times in your life...
