Spent about 10 days surfing in Chicama, Peru. Not much there except a fishing village, the hotel, desert, and a world-class left. A local kid/entrepreneur was selling photos to guests and I managed to get a few good ones. Watching yourself surf is always pretty cringeworthy.
"El Point" - this is one of 4 main sections of this wave, which goes on forever. This is the most popular section to surf as it usually give you the longest rides. The view from the hotel:
The main hang. Often there would be drone footage of the day on display during dinner.
I didn't bring big enough boards for how flat / big the wave was, but I managed to get a few decent rides. I ended up renting an 8' single-fin board for about half the trip (not pictured) which worked much better than my small fish or step-up.
