Not much activity in the ocean on Saturday, so I opted to just hang out at the beach, which wasn't terrible.

The VW California, which ironically is not sold in CA or anywhere in the US. Not big enough for Americans I guess?

Cafe time

Some bigger swell moved in Sunday. The right point at Arrifana still wasn't firing but it looked like it was trying. I think the direction had too much north in it and not enough west.

I shot down to Praia da Bordeira and Carrapateira but no joy at those spots either. Cool looking beach though at Bordeira.

Sunday I went on a wild goose chase checking all the spots, but ended up back at the first place I went to, Amoreira (I spent about 90 minutes driving around!) It seems to pick up the most swell and can handle a bit of size. It was about 6-8' Sunday / Monday and pretty fun with not too big of a crowd.

Unfortunately it's going to be stormy with heavy onshores for the next week or so with a few big storm systems due to hit the continent :(
