With some bad weather moving in, I decided to spend a few days up in Lisbon. Did some sightseeing, met up with my coworker Tom, and by sheer chance was able to hit two Irish sessions.
An afternoon at the botanical gardens
Hilly terrain
A popular food hall that was always packed
Obligatory pastéis de nata, which is all this place sells.
Monday night session at O'Gilins Irish pub. Very high energy - I don't think anyone played slower than 110 bpm! The bar patrons were very into it.
On the tram. These things are slow and loud!
Cool sidewalk / plaza mosaics basically everywhere
Tom and I at the Castel de São Jorge. Sweet views of the city
