Cleaning house
Organizing your email is like alphabetizing your recycling. If you're organizing stuff that you don't want, don't need, and will never use, you're going in the wrong direction. You might end up, warehousing the past in a way that isn't wholesome. To do anything about this, first make a hole. Part of making a hole is to find stuff that doesn't belong in your future life, and making it go away. Before you attempt any organization.
If a thing is efficient it is more likely to be beautiful. Don't try and make a thing beautiful alone, start with making it efficient. For instance take a Tesla dashboard, no stalk, no knobs, no buttons, no switches. Only a touch screen. Maybe it's looks clean... but in no way is it efficient. And to my eye NOT beautiful. The idea of cleaning house is to make your life more efficient. This is not to say let perfect be the enemy of good. Good is enough. Full stop.
The problem with a lot of partnerships is that the systems person and the implementation person do not agree. The system person knows they are not good at implementing, but the implementation person thinks they are good at systems. And why I live alone.
Ask.
What is the place this object has in your future? Instead of creating a museum of who you wanted to be a long time ago.
