A photographic journey around my corner of the world, celebrating the landscapes and recording the rhythm of the seasons.
Central Southern England; The New Forest, The Solent, Salisbury Plain and the Jurassic Coast of Dorset is my corner of the world - rolling hills, whispering forests, wild heath, dramatic coastlines and restless seas, all transforming with the rhythm of the seasons.
This is my photographic journey to capture these subtle yet stunning shifts on my doorstep, a visual diary of this corner of the world through time which, despite its compactness, is blessed with so many dramatic shifts of scenery.
Although this blog began as a simple photo diary and it most certainly remains so, as the entries accumulated, I noticed another recurring theme emerging; the undeniable fingerprints of climate change and human activity on my local environment. And so, quite by accident, an 'unintentional eco blog' was born, where the beauty of the natural world intertwines with the complex realities of our changing planet.
