Yesterday I cried twice while playing and streaming Ghost of Tsushima.
The scene was moving and sad.
Jin and Yuriko sit together atop some hill, looking through the island. Yuriko thought she was with Kazumasa, Jin's father. Jin plays along. She asks him to describe the scenery, since she says she no longer can see. She reminiscing while he describes. Until she can no longer respond.
I cried from this scene, even now, while typing this post 😞.
Jin was captured by the Khan, together with Taka, his friend who came back to save him. The Khan wants to divide them by handing out Jin's sword and asked Taka to kill Jin for freedom. Jin knew Taka will attempt at the Khan. Shortly, he met his demised. Jin watched as the Khan beheaded his friend.
I didn't cry in this scene, but disappointed by Jin's powerlessness.
Jin was arrested by the Samurais because he is using underhanded method to recapture Shimura Castle. But the people of Yarikawa supported him and tried to release him once they knew the Shogun ordered Jin to be executed. Refused, Jin escapes with his trusty steed. But his horse got hit by several arrows until finally breathe his last while Jin had fled to safety.
I cried a bit here. Because of his service and also laughed a lot because I bought this horse from Digital Deluxe expansion 😂😂.
