
Got up this morning and ran a bath for the Mrs. She of course waited for the water to cool down too much. Next, she couldn't get the water to drain. Well, i'm not an engineer!
Such are the trials of Sundays. I used to really hate them, but now they're the most relaxing day of the week.
This afternoon we got a 1* review on our cottage, because the guest who stayed added an extra day and was charged twice (so she says). No mention of the comfort of the place, or how the rest of the stay went, although her review said 'Nice Stay'. 🤨 She knocked 9* off for that alone. She was there for 6 days. Good job nothing else went wrong!
We have no control over the booking process as it's all handled by our management company and Booking.com. I'm sure they'll be able to clear it up and have the review removed as invalid. It's our first 'bad' review, however has little to do with our gaff itself.
