Many of us strive for perfection in life, not realizing that no complex system or experience ever achieves what we perceive as perfection - it's simply not possible.
But what we miss is that our lives are made up of many individual moments, and many of those moments in isolation are quite perfect. If you don't consider the moment that came before, or what might come after, these moments are what we strive for.
Instead of looking at the whole and worrying over only the blemishes, let's grab a magnifying glass and appreciate each moment for what it is, in isolation, so that we can experience joy in those special moments that we would call "perfect."
Here's to perfect moments.
