Potty I'm trying to follow Susan Garret's advice about taking him out on lead to the same spot to go potty. Unfortunately, Parsnip is so distracted by his new world - every car, person, dog, sound - is just so distracting. I barely even got a sniff today, and he drank a bunch of water when we got home from the breeder.
Bedtime
How I planned:
So I resolved to NOT sleep in the room with him.
How it went: When I went to my room, he started crying. And he cried for like... 35 minutes.
I slept on the floor for the first part of the night. he settled right down once i was there but then i moved to my room around 3am and he was chill the rest of the night and the morning. and holy shit, i have never seen a dog eat food so fast. 😆 He FINALLY peed. Like 10 gallons (outside) and when we got back in he was like all jumping on me and crying for food. So I gave him about half in a bowl, which was gone in 9 seconds. He’s so obsessed with food. I’m trying to play a game where I throw some food into his crate and he gets it, but half the time he stays focused on my hand that thew the food 🤦🏼♂️
