African Tech News #2 with Zeepay fintech out of Ghana

Today was the second edition of African Tech News! Hosted by Owuraku Sarpong and myself.

You can read the recap of edition #1 here or listen to the recording.

In today's edition, we spoke with Morkor Quarshie, Zeepay Brand Manager. And Felicity Luktuka Jaforktuk Product Manager at Zeepay.

Zeepay is the fastest-growing fintech focused on digital rails to connect digital assets. Such as mobile money wallets, cards, ATMs, and bank accounts. Also digital tokens to International Money Transfer Operators, payments, subscriptions, International Airtime and Refugee payments.

I learned two exciting things. First is that Zeepay is the partner of the Ghanian government for the distribution of COVID-19 relief funds to small businesses.

Second, they provide the financial rails to send money into Africa. Including the ability to distribute payroll.

We are all looking forward to Zeepay's continued success. And we'll have today's recording released in the coming days.

You can listen live to African Tech News every Tuesday at 7 PM (Ghana) / 8 PM (Nigeria) / 10 PM (Kenya) / 12 PM (Los Angeles) / 3 PM (New York).
