This is a short post about several visits at the end of June. We feel so lucky to have you all in our lives so thank you for making time for us (even if it is short). ❤️
We left Detroit on 6/24 and flew to Philadelphia (state 1). We stayed a few days for me to do some genealogical research on my father's mother's family. The weather was warm but good for walking around and seeing the sights. 👀
It was fun to catch up with Michael and Carol's daughter Sarah who lived just across the bridge from Philly in Marlton, NJ (state 2). ☕️
We got to join in a surprise 50th anniversary gathering on 6/27 for my Aunt Donna and Uncle Charlie in Audubon, NJ. 🥳
Always great to catch up with family - hi cousins! 👋
We left Philly ....
.... and arrived in Minneapolis (state 3) on 6/28.
We had a great time with Steve's cousin Patty and her partner Davoud. We visited them many times in Germany over the years but they moved back to the US after retiring last year. 🤗
Steve and Davoud got the fountain working. ⛲️
We flew back to Omaha late on 6/29 (state 4) and drove back to Boulder on 6/30 (state 5). 🚙
Got to see a small group of the Breakfast Club. 🍳
Very lucky that calendars aligned to have al fresco dinner with some of the gang. 😀
Squeezed in a beautiful walk around Wonderland Lake with Amy's new dog, Augie. What a sweetie! 🐾
Some quiet time with Abby. 😻
We packed what we needed for 2 months in the UK, put the car in storage, and got a ride to the airport on 7/2. ✈️
