Adelaide Part Two

More about our stay in Adelaide ...

We enjoyed an interesting mass transit option during our stay - the O-Bahn. 🚐

The O-Bahn Busway is a guided busway that is part of the bus rapid transit system servicing the northeastern suburbs of Adelaide. The O-Bahn system was conceived by Daimler-Benz to enable buses to avoid traffic congestion by sharing tram tunnels in the German city of Essen...The O-Bahn provides specially built track, combining elements of both bus and rail systems.
We toured the Aboriginal Art galleries at the SA Museum (Focus Post to follow). 👀

We learned how it was once possible to walk from what is now Indonesia all the way to Tasmania. Very different origin from the first people in Aotearoa New Zealand (Pacific Islanders who rowed across the oceans). 🛶

We also visited the Art Gallery of South Australia (aka AGSA). Another Focus Post to follow. 👀

Adelaide University campus was next to AGSA, so we took a quick stroll around. 🥾

Our old friend Henry Moore was there (Reclining Connected Forms from 1969). 👋

We missed them as soon as we left. The Great Ocean Road was next. 🚙
