We got some much needed rain so the indoor plants got a nice shower. ๐ฟ
Got to see this up close during our second visit to Liberty's.
To celebrate Libertyโs 150th anniversary in 2025, this history is coming to life. Over the course of three months, we invited our network of artisans, makers, designers and visionaries from across the globe to help us create a new, collaborative artwork: The Patchwork Collective, a supersize patchwork house on display in Libertyโs Tudor Halls ... representing Libertyโs patchwork living history.
Stopped by Selfridge's and didn't make it pass the first 100 feet. Soooooo many people! ๐ฉ
Opted to have a nice lunch at Mercato Mayfair (another repurposed church building) instead - excellent choice. ๐
Made another visit to the Wallace Collection the next day. The Great Gallery was indeed great and took my breath away. Sir Richard designed it with loads of natural light. โ๏ธ
We got a short history of this piece, The Laughing Cavalier, from one of the museum staff. I was very intrigued by it - seemed so modern despite the outfit. Read more about it (and a short video) here.
We don't have many drapes but if we did, I would want these tassels. ๐ชข
Walked by the (under renovation) Marble Arch on our way to the Moco Museum. ๐๏ธ
The Moco Museum was a compact collection of 100+ pieces. Keith Haring in the house! ๐ผ๏ธ
