Pretty quiet station on Sunday morning. 💤
Above ground at the Kew Park station was a different story - loads of people! 👀
We took a guided tour of the Henry Moore exhibit at Kew Gardens. Focus post coming soon. 🌸

We spent about an hour at this sculpture to admire it and cool off after the walking tour. It was one of our favorites and it was not the first time we've seen it. 🤔
I took this photo at Dallas City Hall plaza in August 2015 where it was larger and we could walk around it. 😊
The fox was faster than the child in Kew Gardens. 🦊
We spent the afternoon at Camden Market and probably won't go back. It was a victim of its own success - so so so crowded. 😖
We went back to Kew Gardens the next day to see all 30 of the Henry Moore sculptures (only saw 9 on the previous day's guided tour). Focus post coming soon. 📸
We took the tube to the Victoria and Albert Museum (aka V&A) to meet our friend Ann from New Zealand and her sister, Kallie. 👋
The V&A had the first museum restaurant in the world and while the original structure was gone, these rooms from the late 1860s were still in use. 🤩
The museum was stunning along with its contents.📸
I only captured a few items - a gorgeous wine pot from Qing dynasty (1680-1720) and an egg-shaped snuffbox by Sevres (1764-1765). 👀
We walked from the museum to dinner and saw some sights along the way. 📸
We enjoyed a fabulous dinner at Comptoir and look forward to the next time! 🤗
We made it back to The Wallace Collection for another visit. This was one of our favorite places in London. 💫 ✨

Steve discovered PItchBlack Playback when we were in New Zealand a few years ago and we went to a show in London last year. It was an immersive experience of listening to a full album at a dark movie theater with an eye mask to help focus on the music. We had fun listening to 'Let's Dance' by David Bowie from 1983. 🎼🎶
It was different from the traditional movie theater setting and the album was followed by a 45 minute video documentary. We really enjoyed it. 😁
The next day we strolled through Harrod's which was a gorgeous building and had striking merchandising. However, nothing was within reach so not sure I need to go again. 💰💰💰
We always expanded a bit when traveling by car (or train). 🧳
We picked up a car at Heathrow to drive back to Somerset for a pet sit but made a special stop on the way at the Henry Moore Studios north of London. As many of you know, we were big fans of his work and enjoyed many of his pieces in parks and museums on our travels.
Seeing his home and first workshop with tools was pretty cool. Another focus post coming soon! 🔎
