This is Part Two of our week in Muskegon. We saw the collegiate league Clippers play ball on June 20th at historic Marsh Field. βΎοΈ
The next day was gorgeous so we were back at the beach. ποΈ
We took a drive north of Muskegon along the coast. π
Chris and Wayne stopped by Lori's house on their back from Manistee to their home in Battle Creek. So fun catching up with them! π€

Lori drove us over to Meijer Gardens to see the Dale Chihuly exhibit (Focus Post coming soon). We were not disappointed. π
Petey's guardian (Lisa) made delicious turtle pie for us to enjoy on their deck. π°

It was great to meet Lisa and Mike. Lori enjoyed taking care of Petey when they traveled. πβπ¦Ί
Lori took us to her local art museum in Muskegon (Focus Post coming soon). The Twister sculpture seemed kinetic but it was solid. πͺοΈ

We met Lori's brother and his son for dinner at a local fave - Teddy Spaghetti's! Spaghetti was had and big laughs too. π
Our last sunset over Lake Michigan was another beauty. πΈ
After we said goodbye and drove out of town the next morning, we saw what I called a Michigan morning menagerie - deer and turkeys. π
We visited the Detroit Institute of Arts Museum on our way to the airport (Focus Post coming soon). With over 60k items in the collection, we could not see them all but we enjoyed what we did see. Took a one hour tour to see some highlights too. Hello Thinker! πΌοΈ
