I struggle to write articles. Just like most people I have plenty of original content, but a blog feels so impersonal. So I think I've thought of a solution though.

Paul Graham has an essay that outlines a concept called "Write Like You Talk". I feel that it's incomplete though because I struggle to talk to myself. I've actually tried recording myself and it just makes me feel like a crazy person. However, I have no problem talking to people. I'm convinced that my wife knows more about programming than some CS graduates because I've talked so much about programing with her..

So I have a theory that I'm going to try and work through in the coming weeks:  Write like you're writing to a person.
