National Trust Seeks Approval for Concession Stand at Giant’s Causeway
The National Trust has submitted a planning application to Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council to add a concession stand at the Innisfree Car Park, near the Boat House Gallery and Studio on Causeway Road.
This site serves as overflow parking for the Giant’s Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its 40,000 basalt columns.
The proposed concession stand aims to enhance the visitor experience by offering refreshments and snacks. The National Trust assures that the design will adhere to environmental guidelines to preserve the site's natural beauty.
