PSNI Investigates Second Report in Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council Fraud Allegation
The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) has confirmed they are dealing with a second report related to an ongoing investigation into an allegation of fraud at Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council.
Both reports are being handled as part of the same investigation.
In a statement issued on 30th May, a PSNI spokeswoman said, "Police received a report of fraud on Friday, 24th May. Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances. An update will be provided in due course."
Sources revealed that a council official was suspended at the end of last month in connection with the investigation.
