I'm counting this as my first true foray into blogging. I've previously visited the idea but it's always felt overwhelming to make a start.

I've had some vague ideas around what subject matter to write about but it feels like before you can even think about the content, you have to think about the fully fledged website that you're going to generate and host it on. This may work for some completely clued up folk, but with someone with a finite cognitive capacity just looking to generate some content, it's a little much.

Coming across Hey World strikes me as the solution to my problem, and I'm excited to actually start making a mark on the internet, mostly in the form of technical things I don't want to forget.
