Often we miss out on opportunities because we are too late to see profound changes happening to society.
I was too late in understanding the power of the internet. I wish I paid more attention to the software development side of my degree: I studied computer science and business.
I was too late to understand the power of the smartphone. I should have invested more time in building a community with the phone and social platforms.
I always thought I was too late, but when I looked back, i realised i was too early; I got interested when the early adopters were getting excited, not when it mattered, which is when everybody else cares.
Crypto might feel like that right now. The early adopters are excited, but we are not even close to mass adoption. It's too early to go all-in, but it's a great time to learn.
One thing I got lucky with is the need for coworking space. Covid just changed the game and brought this need forward. We all need somewhere to work that is not the office or home :-). It's great to be on time when building something you love.
Are you early, late or on time with your new big idea?
