What's more critical today in business, doing remarkable work or building reach and controlling the perspective. Often we cant do both, so many are focusing on the latter. 

How many likes did you get? how many people who didn't make it to your event and felt the FOMO, and how many more followers did you get?

I met someone today who said to me, "Gerald forget trying to make the product and service even better. Just do the minimum needed. What's more important is the marketing, the perception.  Make sure people see the highlight and your best part then declare it a wild success. 

Obvs we need to do both, but as entrepreneurs with limited resources we have to prioritise.  

Is marketing more important than great work? Is the chat,  the content, the online perspective more vital because we have unlimited potential new customers?
