One of the greatest things to enjoy with Family and Friends are various traditions throughout the year. 

My wife, My Kids, Their partners and I have never been interested in watching football throughout the year, however, we always enjoy watching the Sunday Super Bowl.  Everyone comes over to the house, we pick the team we are going to root for just before the game starts (usually the underdog), we make a mess of snacks and drinks, and my son Brandon live draws the event to his instagram and Facebook accounts ( @brandonhickscomics).  Here is the first of this years panels as we were panicking to get the right channel set up just before the game.

We have a number of traditions where we try be together with family and with friends.  "March Break", Easter (Still Do Egg Hunt), May Long weekend opening of the Cottage, August "Golf" weekend at the Cottage, The "Cookie Exchange", Christmas, The Boxing Day Extended Family Gathering, New Years, etc.  We do a lot of the same things each year, and have much of the same food.  We would miss it if we didn't.  We always try and celebrate each of our birthdays on the days or close weekend with the persons favourite food and cake.

We are always looking to create more traditions and maintain the ones we have as any reason is a good reason to spend time together, laughing, and enjoying each others company.
