I am a Redemptorist priest living and working in Canada. Home is wherever I happen to have been assigned, which is currently Toronto, ON. I was born in the middle of England: on a farm, in a village, in a city, and, as a result, I am full of contradictions. I studied Archaeology, and Mathematics & Computing in England, and Philosophy and Theology in Canada and the USA. 

I have a great love of being in nature, camping, fishing, visiting historic places, and generally exploring the world around me. My hobbies include photography, studying the past, reading, fixing old clocks, archery, listening to music (mostly classical and jazz) and occasionally playing it (I play a mean MP3 file, and I am learning to play the clàrsach (cláirseach in Irish), the traditional wire strung harp of Scotland and Ireland).
