A friend of mine once said "I've forgotten more than I remember.". I feel this about Mac apps that I have used — ones that were once the center of my daily computing life now lost to the digital wasteland. So, I thought maybe I dig up the ones I can remember and at this point the ones I can still find.

I was setting up the new NetNewsWire 6 and while seeing if it had functionality to filter out dead feeds (hint — it's coming in the the future) I was reminded of NewsFire, a Mac app created by David Wannabe during the mid to late 2000s.
