I discovered this poem today in Mary Oliver‘s A Poetry Handbook. 

It’s called Salutation by the poet Ezra Pound.

For some reason it struck me deeply and I decided to memorize it.

Then I thought of you and wondered how you would respond to Pound’s poem.
