Every hunt page now has a "Compare this hunt with…" button. Pick the hunts you want beside it, rank them by Balance/h or Raw XP/h, and read them side by side.
Hunt Analyser has been putting hunts side by side for a long time. Getting there was the slow part: you had to leave the hunt you were reading, open the Comparison report on its own page, and rebuild there the selection you already had in your head.
This release closes that gap. The comparison now starts where the question starts: on the hunt you are looking at. One button, a picker that ranks your own hunts, and you are in the report. And once you are there, the hunts you chose stay chosen.
The button works on any hunt you can open, including a public hunt from another player, like this one. The hunts you compare it against are always your own.
What's New
- A "Compare this hunt with…" button on every hunt page. It sits right next to the hunt title and the Public badge. Click it and the hunt you are reading becomes the Anchor hunt of a new comparison: always included, never something you have to pick again. It appears on your own hunts (public or private), on any public hunt, and on a hunt a friend shared with you.
- A picker that ranks your hunts instead of just listing them. Three sort presets: Most Recent(default, your newest hunts first), Balance/h (your most profitable hours first) and Raw XP/h(your highest Raw XP hours first). Every row carries the hunt name, duration, party size, Raw XP/h, Balance/h and date, so you can judge a hunt before you tap it.
- Filters for the hunt you actually have in mind. A Members picker narrows the list by party size, so a four-man hunt gets compared against your other four-mans instead of your solo sessions. A Search box matches a hunt name or the name of a character who was in it. And the list keeps loading older hunts as you scroll, so nothing sits behind a "next page" link.
- Someone else's public hunt can be the anchor. Open a public hunt from another player, hit the same button, and the candidates are still your own hunts. It is a direct way to answer "how does my run compare to theirs?" without copying numbers into a spreadsheet.
- Your selection stops disappearing. In the Comparison report, the hunts you picked now stay picked. Switch the scope from your hunts to public ones, narrow the date range, search for something else: everything already in the comparison stays in it. Filters now change only what you can find, never what you already chose.
Tap the hunts you want. Each one gets tagged under "Comparing against", and the footer counts everything going into the comparison.
Where to Use It
- Hunt Sessions → any hunt's page: the "Compare this hunt with…" button sits in the header, next to the hunt title. Nothing to enable, it is simply there whenever you are signed in.
- Inside the picker: sort presets, the Members party-size filter and the search box all narrow the same list. Tap a hunt to tag it, tap it again to drop it, then hit Compare.
- Hunt Comparison Report: where the Compare button lands you, with the anchor plus your picks already selected. The sticky selection applies to the whole page, including comparisons you build there directly.
Why This Matters
A comparison is not really a page you visit. It is a question you have while looking at one specific hunt: was this better than last Tuesday, is this spot beating the one I ran all week, did the bigger party actually pay. Asking that used to mean leaving the hunt, finding another page, and rebuilding the whole selection from memory. Now the question is answered from where you asked it.
The second half matters just as much, even though it is quieter. A comparison you built and then watched fall apart because you touched a filter is a comparison you stop trusting. Selections are sticky now, so filters are safe to play with: narrow, widen, search, change scope. What you put in the comparison stays in the comparison.
