May 21, 2026 - Hunting Preys in Hunt Sessions: Pick, Save, and See What They Add

Charms were the first half of "what buffs did I bring into this hunt?" Hunting Preys were the missing other half, until now.

With this release, you can record the 3 in-game Hunting Preys you picked for a session, tie each one to the creature you targeted, and see exactly what they contributed inside the same per-creature view as your Charms. Damage Boost preys even roll up into your Critical Hit Extra Damage total, right alongside Savage Blow.

What’s New

  • All 4 Hunting Preys available - Damage Boost, Damage Reduction, Bonus Experience and Improved Loot, each with 10 step levels and a live Bonus: +X% label built from the prey's own base and increment values.
  • 3 generic slots per hunt - the same prey type can repeat across slots (e.g. 3 Damage Boost preys on 3 different creatures), with one rule that mirrors the game: the same creature can't appear in two prey slots.
  • Pick a creature per prey - the same fast searchable picker you already use for Charms. A creature picked on a Charm is not blocked from being picked on a Prey - in-game, the two systems are independent.
  • Hunt Templates support the same flow - save your favorite prey setup once and reuse it on every new hunt. Templates created before this release keep working with empty preys.
  • Preys inside Creature Stats on the show page - one card per creature, listing prey rows first and Charm rows below, each with effect label, percentage, and a concrete estimate when the data allows it (damage prevented, extra XP, etc.).
  • Damage Boost rolls into your Critical Hit Extra Damage total - a Damage Boost prey and a Savage Blow charm targeting the same stat now show the same combined (total: Y%) on both rows - base stat, charms and preys finally agree.

Where to Use It

  • Hunt Sessions → New / Edit — the Preys section appears as soon as you pick a character, right after Charms. Switch the character and the picks reset, so a setup tied to one character never silently follows you to another.
  • Hunt Templates → New / Edit — identical Preys picker, identical validation. Save it as part of your template and the prey loadout travels with the rest of your hunt blueprint.
  • Hunt Sessions → Show page — open a member’s panel and the Creature Stats section now shows preys and charms grouped per creature, prey rows first.

Why This Matters

Preys are one of the easiest in-game decisions to forget about when reviewing a hunt. “Was that Damage Boost on Dragoliks actually worth it? Did the Bonus Experience on Hellhounds pay for itself?” used to be a feeling. Now it’s a number - calculated from the kills and damage that actually happened in your session, sitting on the same card as the Charm you paired with that creature.

Combined with Hunt Templates, this turns prey planning into something you can iterate on: save a setup with preys + charms + gear, run it, compare the Creature Stats across hunts, adjust, save a new template. Less guessing, more measuring.

Happy hunting!
