In Character Performance → Goals, a target saved close to midnight left the card at 0% until the next day. Fixed, with nothing to redo on your side.
This one is a fix, not a new feature, and it lived in one screen: the goal cards on Character Performance → Goals.
Hunt Analyser reads your dates on your own clock: which day, week or month you are looking at comes from your timezone setting, or from your browser when you have not set one. One check behind those cards was not doing that. When it asked whether the target you had saved was already in force for the period, it was still reading the server's clock instead of yours.
Depending on where you live, those two clocks are hours apart, and a target saved close to the turn of the day falls between them. Save a daily goal at 11 PM and, to that one check, it did not exist yet for the day you were still playing: the card showed 0% and a target of 0, with your hunt recorded right above it. After your midnight the two clocks agreed again and the card went back to normal, which is a good part of why this went unnoticed for so long.
It was that single check and nothing else. Your hunts, your history and the numbers behind them were always recorded and summed on your own dates.
What's Fixed
Your goal's target is now judged on your clock, like every other date in the app.
- A target you save today counts today, whatever hour you save it, wherever you are.
- The same for weekly and monthly goals whose target is saved on the last day of their period.
- Your streak counts that period too. A goal whose target landed in that window could break a streak that you had in fact reached.
- A goal with no target says so. The card used to read "Target 0" and "Done", which was never true. It now reads No target set, in all five languages.
- You can look back at the day you created a goal. The period arrows could not reach it before.
Where It Was
Character Performance → Goals: the card for each goal, and its period arrows. The goals panel at the top of Hunt Sessions reads your target another way and kept showing it correctly throughout.
Nothing to Check on Your Side
Only the reading was wrong, never the data underneath it, and the corrected reading applies to every goal already on file, past periods included. There is nothing to re-enter and nothing was lost.
This one came in as a support message with four words in it. If something looks wrong on your screen, tell me. Those reports are worth more than they sound.
Happy hunting!
