A quick play with stitch by google.

https://stitch.withgoogle.com/ is a gen ai design prototyping tool.

I’ve just given it a quick test to design an integrity dashboard. I didn’t provide much detail or much context.

It was a bit slower than I expected, and I didn’t find the design to be particularly amazing.  I’ve found Claude and Claude code to be very good at creating UI.

There are two things that are almost good about stitch.

There is a basic panel allowing you to pick design elements

And there is the promise of being able to export the design into either code or figma files (neither works at the moment)

I guess you might call this an example of guided genAI. 

You wouldn’t need to know that this is AI at all for it to be useful. 

In my mind we are still gently venturing into the new landscape of what GenAI may make possible.
