I like what rouge scholar is doing - https://legacy.rogue-scholar.org/about (I'm not sure if the right domain is https://legacy.rogue-scholar.org/about or https://rogue-scholar.org/about). It indexes scholarly blogs and issues each post with a DOI, and then allows you to download those posts as pdf, ePub, or markdown. 

In a way it shows how we can create scholarly infrastructure in a very lightweight way. 

The person behind it Martin Fenner has a long history of creating and building infrastructure. 

Overall, a really nice service.
