- active experimentation

Gibbs

- description

- analysis
- conclusion
- action plan

ERA

Driscoll

- What?
- So what?
- Now what?

Schön

Reflection-in-action and reflection-on-action

See also PDSA and OODA loops. You could argue that PDSA was reflection-on-action and OODA reflection-in-action

Reflection is hard work and takes time. It is part of thinking, and therefore much writing, not least autoethnography.

It fits into classic style.

Use first person, go with flow, analyse from your own POV, and challenge your and other assumptions.
