The following is a somewhat silly, real story about obeying the Lord that I experienced this past weekend.
I attend church in my hometown on Sundays and our service flow follows a similar structure each week. Halfway through the sermon, I really had to go pee. So, I made up my mind that once we transition into worship and closing, I would scoot out and take care of business. However, right as we transitioned, the Lord spoke to me very clearly and told me to hold it, because there was something He was going to have me do. I'm not kidding you - God directed me to not go to the bathroom. How silly! But he really does get involved in every little detail to have His will be done. Sure enough, not a minute into worship a man walked over and asked me to come and pray with him. I don't know the outcome of the situation we prayed over, but I know God does!
Here's to the little bits of obedience that make our faith come alive. Hopefully this encourages you. God's got every detail of your life in consideration.
