Working and Working Out

Closing in on the end of my second week working full-time for myself, momentum has been high, and sustainable. At least, it feels sustainable right now, and I want to keep it that way. It's important to me to keep a healthy balance between work, play, rest, etc.

This is only the second time doing it, but I've decided that Thursday mornings will be when I work out. If you know me, you know that I don't ever do that. I'm weak! I'm not joking—just stating the facts. I think I am currently the weakest I have ever been in my adult life in terms strength. I would say I'm moderately healthy though, so my baseline to improve upon is good. A goal of mine is to be fit, not just healthy. As my uncle has said, you should be able to move furniture up a flight of stairs and not hurt yourself. I think that's a good thing to aim for! One day a week isn't much, but that's also kind of the point. Keeping with my opening statement, I want to do things sustainably.

Focusing on Eripio, I've slightly deviated from my original plan for what to start working on, but they are welcome changes. We're looking at how to incorporate B2B services, and use them to further our mission to end human trafficking. Most of my time has been spent in spreadsheets, and I'm optimistic about what I'm seeing. We have a pretty exciting partnership in the works—more to come on that later! Alongside the B2B details I'm working on, a parallel effort has started for us to refine our brand, making the story, mission and vision clear to anyone who comes across Eripio.

Cheers to another week in the books. Back to the grind!
