Carbon Capture
Drax Power Limited attracted media attention this month when the legislation authorising development of carbon capture plant passed into force. Media reports have focused on the cost of carbon capture tech and the continued burning of "old growth" forest timber.

Tuberculosis in cattle featured in the list of concerns raised by the farming community in Wales in February. The Welsh Senedd has long avoided badger culls that have led to the badger becoming locally extinct in many parts of England. Test, vaccinate and remove (TVR) is the favoured approach.

 A Schedule of amendments to the Tuberculosis (Wales) Order 2010 1379 came into force this month. 

 The Tuberculosis (Wales) Order 2011 692 is unaffected.
