This morning I took Julia (my oldest daughter) to urgent care. She fell the other night and her leg has been hurting bad enough that she hasn’t been able to walk without a walker since. For those that don’t know, she had cancer and needed to have a major surgery to remove the tumor from her pelvis and also surgery on her right leg, the same side she just fell on.
We sat in the waiting room for almost 30 minutes, after having an appointment and submitting required documents before even getting there. It probably took almost an hour and a half from the time we arrived before anything really happened.
They should rename urgent care to walk-in-to-see-a-doctor-but-hopefully-it’s-not-actually-urgent care. 🤦♂️
P.S. She’s fine—no fractures or anything.
