There are no shortage of opinions on the internet; the mere fact I am saying that alone is practically a cliche in itself. And if the pandemic has taught us anything, it’s that there remains a burning desire amongst many to be heard, especially when it’s physically a challenge to do so these days. 

But I do appreciate a chance to hone my thoughts, and put them through some sort of a process. The events of 2020 and the early stages of 2021 revealed some beliefs that I would not have guessed I would have had otherwise. They aren’t the most positive thoughts necessarily, but they are what they are. 

I’d love to use this space to highlight some of the good that I am witness to, because while the world may be on fire in many ways, and there are so many who seemingly stand diametrically opposed towards contributing any sort of positivity, that doesn’t mean they get to win.
