WalkMe Chicago User Group 2026

Had a great time yesterday at the WalkMe Chicago User Group. Here’s what you missed:

Great session by Leslie Carlucci on finding your next use case.

Everyone in attendance was fairly experienced with WalkMe and wanted to grow its impact in their organization. We were all there because we love WalkMe and the results we’re getting (so far).

Also, these in person user groups are important because some folks admitted they weren’t yet taking full advantage of WalkMe.

  • We’re just doing ShoutOuts..
  • Our team just inherited it..
  • I didn’t know you could do that...

This is the constant refrain with WalkMe. It’s a super capable product, run in the browser, on any web-based app, which addresses at least a half-dozen or more Common Use Cases:

  • Employee Onboarding
  • Ongoing Training
  • Change Management
  • Feature Adoption
  • Data Integrity
  • Productivity

But often your first implementation will only focus on one use case. Maybe your folks don’t get the idea and run with it. Maybe you have employee turnover. Maybe you’re making it harder that it needs to be?

And meanwhile, WalkMe is breaking ground with bringing focused AI solutions directly into your app.

“Who all is using WalkMe AI so far?” No hands go up.

As Leslie said, you need to shift from “What WalkMe content can I do” to “What problems does our business have and how can WalkMe address them?” And answering that question requires you understand the product backward and forward as well as where it’s going.

If you need help, give me a call!
